COUPLER & SENSORS
For decoupling of partial discharges, Doble Lemke provides a wide range of couplers and sensors mostly designed for permanent installation on your HV equipment (e.g. power transformer, generator, HV cable...). Furthermore, some of these couplers and sensors are mandatory for UHF partial discharge measurements.
Depending on your HV equipment (transformer, cable system or rotating machines), you can choose betwenn the following sensors and couplers:
Active UHF-PD Sensor - Drain Valve
Application: Transformer
By using the special designed PD Sensors DN 50 / DN 80, UHF partial discharge measurements on power transformers can be optimally done.
The UHF-Drain valve Sensor DN will be installed at the drainvalve of the transformer and is used for decoupling of electromagnetic PD signals from the inner of an oilpaper-insulated transformer.
PDDC-17
Application: Rotating Machines
The Partial Discharge Decoupling Unit "PDDC-17" (rated voltage: 17,5 kV) with integrated PD measuring impedance is especially designed for permanent installation on rotating machines and is therefore essential for partial discharge monitoring of your generator or motor.
PDDC-24
Application: Rotating Machines
In addition to the PDDC-12 (rated voltage of 17,5 kV), LDIC also provides a PD Decoupling Unit for a rated voltage of 24 kV, so called "PDDC-24".
In contrast to couplers of our competitors, the PDDC-24 has an integrated HV fuse, i.e. the decoupling unit will become high-resistive in case of a failure.
PD Sensor Type A
Application: HV Cable Terminations
The Inductive Line Coupler PD Sensor Type A with capacitor is used for decoupling PD signals and will be permanent installed on HV cable terminations.
