UHF-PD Sensor Drain Valve
For decoupling of electromagnetic PD signals from the inner of oilpaper insulated transformers
Applications
Application: UHF-Partial Discharge Measurement on Transformers
- For decoupling of electromagnetic PD signals from the inner of an oilpaper insulated transformers
- Sensors support "Performance/Sensitivity Check" (High frequent test pulse can be injected by further integrated electrodes)
- Grounded sensors (for low frequencies)
- Sensor set-up at drain valves (e.g. normally used for oil filling)
- Standard design for DN 50 or DN 80drain valves
- Further designs and dimensions on request
- Development in cooperation with Institute of Power Transmission and High-Voltage Technology (IEH) at the University of Stuttgart (Germany)
User Benefits
- Easy-installable sensor
- No outage needed for installation
- Shielded against external noise by the transformer tank
- suitable for PD monitoring (permanently installed)
