IDD (Intellig. Diagn. Device)

Continuous on-line monitoring of bushing Power Factor/Tan Delta and capacitance via test tap. May also be used for hydrogen and/or moisture in oil via Doble or third party sensors.

Applications

  • Monitoring of suspect bushings and/or CTs
  • Monitoring of critical transformers

User Benefits

  • Continuous, cost-effective, assessment
  • Eliminates forced outages by diagnosing the severity of the problem using expert system software
  • Eliminates false alarms by advanced signal processing and field-proven algorithms
  • Large amounts of data are processed by the IDD and the user only notified when necessary via detailed Alert messages
