Automatic HV Control Unit

This control Unit is designed for fully-automatic control of high voltage test systems.

Applications

This control Unit is designed for fully-automatic control of high voltage test systems.

Following application areas can be served:

  • fixed-frequency AC test transformer system
  • variable-frequency AC resonant test system

User Benefits

  • Ease of use
  • High flexibility because of the different working modes
  • User specific test protocols
  • Multiplicity of test procedures
  • Safetyfor the test object
  • Upgrade of already existing test systems

The control system has four different, independent working modes (partly optional features). This allows a very flexible use of this Control Unit.

1. Manual Mode

  • Operation via built-in touch-screen
  • Values like current and voltage of the test circuit or of the power supply as well as graphic curves are displayed on the 8.4"-TFT-Display
  • Pre-selection of voltage and frequency (frequency only at variable-frequency AC resonant test systems)
  • Calibration of all relevant values

2. Automatic Mode

  • see 1. manual mode
  • Selection of user-defined programs (ramp with one voltage level can be varied)

3. Remote control mode - Software (optional, not included)

  • Complete remote-control via PC and special host-program ("Easy Remote Control") for Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Connection via Ethernet interface
  • Graphical representation of the actual measured values
  • Start and Stop of the programmed voltage ramps respectively test procedures
  • Unlimited entering of more test procedures´
  • Test procedures can be stored on hard disk
  • Measured values and graphics can be stored as file on the hard disk of the Control-PC

Optional to 3. (not included):

  • simultaneous control of LDIC PD measuring system LDS-6 incl. data acquisition of the PD level, e.g. for automatic "GO" or "No GO" decision at routine tests
  • simultaneous control of LDIC tan delta measuring system TD-SMART incl. data acquisition of the tan delta
  • on customers request, an user-specific test protocol can be printed out after finishing the test

4. Remote control mode - Hardware (optional, not included)

  • according to customer-specific inquiry controlling of external devices (e.g. robotics)

Accessories

  • Dissipation and capacitance measuring system TD SMART
  • PDMeasuring SystemPD SMART
