LDA-5/S
Detection of the ultrasonic sound of PD events at a resonance frequency of 40 kHz. Depending on the type of the receiver, either discharges in air (corona) or in HV equipment can be recognized, as for instance in cable accessories, power transformers and switchgears, including GIS.
Applications
- Detection of the ultrasonic sound of PD events at a resonance frequency of 40 kHz
- Depending on the type of the receiver, either discharges in air (corona) or in HV equipment can be recognized, as for instance in cable accessories, power transformers and switchgears, including GIS.
User Benefits
- Combined with electrical PD detection, the AE technique represents a cost-effective procedure for PD fault location
