TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

The temperature measurement with SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) sensors works on basis of a variation of the travelling time because of temperature-dependent variation of length and velocity. The SAW sensors allow a potential-free determination of actual temperature values of switchgear, overhead transmission lines and other HV apparatus.
